Rose Pleated coaster
Additional material:
-
- Transparent cellpophane wrap roll
- A wooden spatula
How one do
Step 1
Fold the 6-7 cm wide clear cell puff in half. Roll it up, and the more it rolls around, the looser the clear cell puff will be rolled. Remember to fix the transparent cell puff with double-sided tape after rolling a few times. Roll it up to the size you want.
step 2
Use silicone spatula to pinch out the desired size of the mats, which are 1.5 ~ 2 cm thick, and then push out the fibers with a wooden stick. If you are worried about the resin leaking, use hot glue to seal the edge of the pad.
Step 3
Mix the resin with red paint and pour it into the mold. Use a heat gun to blow away the edges of the red resin.
Then add glitter or mylar flakes to the center of the mold to create the effect of stamens.
Step 4
Place the clear cell pofan on the surface of the resin and gently press it to release the bubbles from the bottom. Wait 24 hours for the rose pattern on the mat to harden, then peel off the cellophane.
Step 5
Mix the resin with white mica powder and pigment paste and then pour it over the rose pattern. Wait until it has completely hardened.
Step 6
Color the edge of the coaster with chrome markers.
Finally, deform it and color the edge of the pad with a chrome metallic marker. Your beautiful coaster is ready!
