This Kintsugi set is a DIY kit that allows you to repair broken or cracked items such as plates, ceramics or china. The idea is to be able to give new life to everyday objects that are no longer used by gluing the pieces together with the epoxy glue included in this kit and adding the unique gilding of Kintsugi to the sutured part. In this way, your plate, vase or teapot will not only be repaired but also sublimated well. With this Kinstugi set, renovation becomes an art and a means of expression. What does Kintsugi mean?

Kintsugi is an ancient Japanese art that can be translated as "golden joint" (kin = gold and tsugi = joint). This art, which appeared in Japan in the 16th century, has its roots in the principle of Wabi-Sabi where it is not about seeking perfection but about highlighting imperfections. With the Kinstugi art, we do not try to hide the cracks in the damaged object, but rather highlight them. Beyond this aesthetic aspect, there is a whole spirituality that advocates rebirth and resilience.
